Aspiring Bakers #9 - Swiss Rolling Good Times

HELLO Allo Hello! (:

I'm hosting the Aspiring Bakers #9 for July 2011!

If you are interested to find out what's on the previous Aspiring Bakers #8 - Bread Seduction entries, you can refer to the link HERE which was hosted by Jasmine from The Sweetylicious. You'll be breadly seduced if you're one of those who live, breathe, poke/tear/chew/smell & eat bread everyday! (:
The theme i'm hosting for this month is
"Swiss Rolling Good Times"!

Please email for each and every entry. Put "Aspiring Bakers" as your email subject. You can submit more than 1 post.

NOTE:
* In conjunction with my hosting for July's Aspiring Bakers "Swiss Rolling Good Times" theme, there is not one but two!! small giveaways for my fellow bakers who put in their generous efforts in submitting their bakes (: we all need constant fuel for our passion! (esp. when none of us get paid to do all these!!)
Not sure abt you, but i personally think that the theme for this month is quite a challenging one =p  (am guilty even tho' the idea came fr moi, hehee) And anyone who dares/crazy enuff to attempt the most tries (submit the most entries) deserves a lil pressie from me as well! Along with a lucky random contributor! Henceforth, i have the following giveaways for
the one who attempts the most swiss rolls in July!! (Pretty Cupcake Kit - 200 cupcake liners, 34 flag toppers & a 28pages booklet with basic cupcake & frosting recipes plus 8-do-it-yourself projects to display & package ur finished treats.)
and, to one lucky random contributor to the Aspiring Bakers #9 - Swiss Rolling Good Times! (Les Petits Plats Coffee-time Treats)

*i will accept entries from all over the world!! i would be delighted to send these lil giveaways to anyone who participates, shares and have fun with all of us from various corners of this (baking) world! (the value of these gifts are really small but the interactions & exchanges in the blog world is priceless)
I would like to also thank Small Small Baker (SSB) for allowing me to host this month's theme! Thank u SSB! =)
LET'S HAVE FUN WITH THIS MONTH'S THEME AND LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR MANY ENTRIES! (:
Luv,

  11. If I want to send in my entry, I better start making the swiss roll tomorrow so that I have 29 tries to make it right. If I fail, I will walk away from Swiss roll forever. LOL!

  12. Hahaa, thanks everyone! I look fwd to ur rolling attempts.. seriously i knw it ain't easy!! (i'm fearful myself, there's calculation & tact required in choosing the right recipe + controlled temp/duration) And there's no chance for rectification in the process, but i guess it'll hone our instincts and sharpen our skills.. most importantly, redefine our attitudes.. WE CAN-DO!!

Quay Po, funni abt the 29 tries =)

Thanks SSB for giving me the platform to knw more fellow bakers!

Anncoo/Alice, lookin fwd to ur entries!
    Thx J3ss! Got urs alredy, Neyee/Bernice =)

Wen, i'll be happie to give it to u if u can clock the most submissions!! hehee

Yee Er, nothin but the truth =)

Bakertan, that's the whole purpose of hosting a challenge, to reinspire ourselves and tap into the undiscovered. I could hv choosen an easiler topic to garner more entries, but that would defeat all the good intentions of bringing ourselves to another level =)

    Lena, ditto!
